Project Overview

Protecting the natural environment is critical during coastal infrastructure upgrades. For the Iona Breakwater, Slipway, and Public Toilet Block project, SHEANEY was contracted to author the overarching compliance and environmental management frameworks required before site deployment.

Our Delivery

Working entirely in-house, our team produced a suite of seven highly detailed management plans. This included frameworks for Biodiversity Enhancement, Biosecurity, Construction Stage Waste and Environmental Management, and the primary Health & Safety Phase Plan.

Key Achievements

  • Ensured all documentation strictly adhered to Marine Licence MS-00010433 and local authority planning conditions.
  • Authored all seven comprehensive plans internally, guaranteeing consistency, rapid turnaround, and absolute commercial confidentiality.
  • Provided the principal contractors with a robust, actionable blueprint for safe and environmentally responsible site operations.
